The idea came to our founder, Tim Crooks, in 2009 at a dinner party in Calabasas. "The area was just gaining momentum back then. I glanced around, surrounded by the most eligible people in the city, and wondered how peculiar this would all look to an outsider: That’s when I got the idea!" reveals Crooks, who spent the next 10 years transforming his vision into reality.
